Our transdisciplinary research focuses on understanding the role of pathological angiogenesis in chronic inflammation and tissue repair and discovering new therapies in rheumatic diseases. We utilize a range of approaches including new stem-cell based tissue engineering strategies to model diseases, generate affected tissues and test novel therapies.
