Research Interests:
We study the cellular and molecular mechanisms that regulate brain development and neurodevelopmental disorders. Our lab has three specific areas of interest:
- To examine the mechanisms that regulate the development of neuronal connections (synapses).
- To study how risk genes for neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorders impact synaptic development.
- Use high-throughput and high-content imaging to perform screening on stem cell-derived neurons for drug development.
