RNA-Seq Analysis Workshop
OIRM and the Stem Cell Network are pleased to offer the RNA-Seq Analysis workshop once again. This workshop is designed for stem cell biologists (and other end users) who are looking to gain an appreciation of the bioinformatics concepts and processes used to acquire, analyze and interpret next generation sequencing data. Day 3 of this workshop is by invitation only, allowing a select number of trainees with their own RNA-Seq data to start analysis.
Through a mixture of interactive lectures and computer lab exercises, participants will be exposed to the RNA-seq data acquisition and analysis pipeline, and will gain hands-on training with available tools for network and pathway analysis of -OMICS data (focused on RNA-seq data, but applicable to data obtained from other platforms such as ChIP-seq, microarray or mass spectrometry). Workshop participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and network with other stem cell biologists and bioinformaticists over the course of this workshop.
More information about this workshop can be found on the SCN events page. Space is limited, interested participants must submit an application by Wednesday, August 28, 2019.
OIRM and SCN are offering a limited number of awards to enable eligible trainees to attend. All those who submit an application to attend will automatically be considered for trainee sponsorship and travel bursaries through the appropriate network.
