Research Interests:

Our laboratory is interested in signal transduction in normal stem cells and tumor initiating cells.  We study a range of problems related to neoplastic and developmental diseases of the RAS/ERK MAP kinase pathway, and their effects on hematopoietic and trophoblast stem cells.  We also model these disorders in mice and in human iPS and ES cells.  In addition, we have a large program in ovarian tumor-initiating cell biology, using xenograft and cell culture approaches, and a smaller program in lung cancer tumor-initiating cells.
