I am interested in how acute ICH behaviour relates to clinical symptoms and recovery. Our group investigates ways in which multi-modal imaging can optimize intracerebral hemorrhage and acute ischemic stroke therapy. More recently, we have been exploring novel ways to take advantage of the “recovery window” to promote better outcomes after stroke. We hope to expand the optimal window of stroke recovery using stem cell therapies.
