Research Interests:
My research interests are in identifying cellular and molecular mechanisms regulating human placental invasion of the uterus and their alterations in disease of placental origin such as fetal growth restriction and pre-eclampsia in the mother. My interest in Stem cell research are in two major areas: Regulation of Cancer Stem cells, particularly in breast cancer and the nature and regulation of Trophoblast stem cells in the human placenta.
