Research Interests:
Dr. Yau’s clinical research group has expertise in clinical trials of cardiac stem cell transplantation, cardiac protection during heart surgery, novel technologies including anastomotic devices, and blood conservation. He also runs a basic science research laboratory that is developing advanced stem cell therapies for ventricular dysfunction and surgical interventions as adjuncts to cell transplantation.
